Create You Own Alphabet Book!
Here you will find template and printable to create your own alphabet books. You can create your own set of letter a to z books, create a name booklet (e.g. E is for Erica) and write something about yourself in the book or any other ideas you have to make use of the templates below.
A great project to embark on with your children to learn the alphabet and at the same time be a little author!

How To:
-
Choose the letter and pick the cover design. There are three designs included for each letter: uppercase, lowercase or both (as shown below). It is better if you print the cover using card stock paper to make the book sturdier.
2. Choose the page template. Draw or paste things that begin with each letter. You can also write a short story related to the letter chosen (e.g. a for apple pie and write or draw your experience baking / eating an apple pie, etc.). Create a collage, use the clipart below...etc. The possibility is almost endless :).

Note: print the pages on both sides of the paper so that when you assemble the booklet and fold all the pages in half, you can flip them like a normal book.
3. Optional: download the clipart for each letter. Color, cut along the dotted lines and use the pictures in your alphabet book.

4. Assemble your book. Fold the pages in half along the dotted line and bind them together by stapling them using long arm stapler or poke two holes along the spine and tie them up with string.
